There are so many benefits and reasons why you should consider using scented soy wax melts to fragrance your home. They are a great alternative to soy candles, they have less waste, are super convenient and affordable and you can get creative by mixing and combining different fragrances. They are cheaper than soy candles, are soot and flame free and they are safe around children and pets.
How To Use Wax Melts
Snap out one wax melt segment, pop it into your wax burner and use an unscented tea-light beneath to get the full experience from your chosen fragrance. Your tea light will burn itself out in approx 4 hours. Each wax melts fragrance will last for up to 8 hours, so you can replace your tea light and start again.
Removing Your Used Wax
Heat the wax (using a fresh tea light) for a few minutes until the wax has loosened slightly. You can then scoop it out using a paper towel and put it in the bin. Your burner can be cleaned using warm soapy water.

- Never leave your burner unattended
- Always ensure that you do not overfill your bowl with multiple melts
- Keep melted wax away from pets and children
- Do not eat
- Never pour melted wax down plug holes
- Do not try to move the burner until it has cooled completely and the wax has hardened
- Do not add water or fragrance oils to wax melt well
- Keep wax clear of debris
- Only ever use unscented tea lights as fragrance ones burn too hot
- Only use standard sized 4hr tea lights. Never use the larger 8hr tea lights as these may cause the burners to break
- Never place burner in freezer to help dislodge wax. This can weaken structure of the burner
- Ensure that the surface under the burner is heatproof
