Always treat your candle with love & care, as bett Always treat your candle with love & care, as better care can lead to a cleaner burn and a longer-lasting home fragrance experience 💕 1 - Avoid tunneling from the start: Ensure that the wax melts all the edge during the first burn to create a full melt pool. Thid prevents what we call 'tunneling', which wastes wax and limits the scent throw. 2 - Always trim your wick: Before each burn, trim your wick to 5mm. This will help to maintain a quality flame, along with a cleaner, brighter and smoother burn throughout the candle’s life. We recommend using a trimmer to trim your wick. However, a small sharp scissors or nail clippers will also work. If your wick is not trimmed, it may be heavy with leftover carbon and may produce smoke. 3 - Keep away from drafty spots: Avoid placing your soy candles near open windows or doors, fans or air conditioners while they are lit. Drafts cause uneven burning and can lead to excessive smoke and flickering. Your candle will burn better in still air. And remember to always store your candle in a cool and dry place in your home as too much heat can soften or melt the wax.
